Dorchester School District Four is committed to ensuring every dollar is spent with students in mind.
To help redirect resources where they matter most, in our classrooms, the Superintendent is launching a new process for reporting potential fraud and/or waste of funds. This initiative invites both internal staff and members of the community to play an active role in safeguarding district resources and supporting student success.

Fraud: Intentional deception or misrepresentation to gain an unfair or unlawful advantage, often involving financial gain.

Waste: Unnecessary or inefficient use of resources, resulting in a loss of value or resources.

South Carolina law may provide whistle-blower protection for state employees who report wrongdoing. See Official Code of South Carolina Annotated section 8-27-10.
