Congratulations class of 2025! You’re invited to apply to the Volvo Accelerator program.
As you start thinking about life after high school, we’re excited to share what a career at Volvo Cars could look like by inviting you to apply to the Volvo Accelerator Program.
The Volvo Accelerator Program invites high school students to explore career opportunities at Volvo Cars. The six-month program includes four Saturday training sessions and a pre-hire interview. Students will meet once a month from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm, gaining hands-on experience by touring the plant, meeting the team, and learning how cars are made. Upon successful completion, students who attend all sessions, actively participate, and pass the pre-hire interview will be eligible for a full-time position at Volvo Cars' Ridgeville plant.

You and your parents are invited to an information session to learn about the Volvo Accelerator program and talk with Volvo Team Members on Thursday, January 16 at 6:00 pm in the Woodland High School cafeteria. Due to changes in the forecasted weather in our area, we have made adjustments to today's dismissal schedule to ensure the safety of all students and staff.
Elementary Schools will dismiss early at 12:30 PM.
The Middle School and The High School will dismiss at 1:30 PM.
All District Offices will close at 2:30 PM.
All after school activities are canceled for today, including athletic events, practices, and extracurricular programs.
The safety of our students and staff is our top priority. We encourage families to make the necessary arrangements to accommodate these changes and to stay updated through our official communication channels.
