Dorchester School District Four recognizes that healthy children learn better.  Vision, hearing, dental problems may prevent a child from achieving his/her full potential.  Sometimes, unfortunately, these problems may go undetected for years.  DD4 does partner with outside agencies to provide better access to health screenings.  If there is a referral from a school based screening, parents will be notified for further evaluation.  Parents/guardians can opt-out their student out of school-based health screenings by requesting and completing an opt-out form.
